Jeffrey M. Kaplan
MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Kaplan is Founder, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and is primarily responsible for the daily management, strategic direction and investment policies of the Company.
Prior to forming Meadow Partners, Mr. Kaplan was a Managing Principal and Co-Chairman of the Investment Committee of Westbrook Partners. As such, he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and its institutional real estate investment funds, including the identification, evaluation, structuring and execution of investments and the formulation of policies and strategies for the ongoing asset management and disposition of investments.
Mr. Kaplan initially joined Westbrook’s New York office upon its inception in April 1994, where he served as a Managing Principal responsible for Westbrook’s acquisitions efforts in the United States and Europe. As head of Westbrook’s European operations, Mr. Kaplan established Westbrook’s London office in January 2001 and its Paris office in November 2002.
Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Kaplan spent seven years at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, where he helped form The Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, L.P. and served as its initial Director of Acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked on a variety of capital markets and investment banking transactions in Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Department and its Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Mr. Kaplan received a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.
Mr. Kaplan serves on the Board of Directors of the Hudson River Park Trust, the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, and the Executive Committee of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton.

J. Andrew McDaniel
PARTNER

Mr. McDaniel is a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and oversees the Company’s acquisition and asset management activities in Europe.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. McDaniel was a Director in the London office of Westbrook Partners, a global real estate private equity firm with an investment volume in excess of $35 billion. Mr. McDaniel’s primary responsibilities included sourcing, negotiating and executing potential acquisitions as well as the daily asset management of Westbrook’s portfolio of assets in the United Kingdom.
Mr. McDaniel previously worked in the acquisitions group of Charlesbank Capital Partners, a real estate and corporate private equity firm based in Boston which historically invested on behalf of Harvard University’s endowment fund. Prior to that, he worked for Wachovia Securities in the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Department where he covered public and private real estate companies in the U.S.
While attending college, Mr. McDaniel completed a one-year internship program with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Mr. McDaniel earned a Masters in Finance from London Business School and is also a graduate of The University of Tennessee where he was awarded a B.S. in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude).

Timothy P. Yantz
PARTNER

Mr. Yantz is a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and oversees the Company’s acquisition and asset management activities in the United States.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Yantz was a Director in the San Francisco office of Westbrook Partners, a global real estate private equity firm with an investment volume in excess of $35 billion. Mr. Yantz was instrumental in opening the San Francisco office and expanding Westbrook’s acquisitions program and presence in the western United States. Prior to moving to San Francisco, Mr. Yantz was based in Westbrook’s New York office, where in addition to acquiring assets in eastern United States markets, he was also involved in Westbrook’s acquisition efforts in the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Yantz worked in the acquisitions group of Charlesbank Capital Partners, a real estate and corporate private equity firm based in Boston which historically invested on behalf of Harvard University’s endowment fund. While at Charlesbank, Mr. Yantz focused on the acquisition of real estate assets and portfolios throughout the United States.
Mr. Yantz received a B.S. with distinction from Babson College. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Stanwich School.

Didier Colin
PRINCIPAL

Mr Colin is a Principal in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in Europe.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Colin worked in the London office of Farallon Capital Management, a hedge fund with assets in excess of $20 billion, where he focused on investments in public real estate debt and equity instruments as well as private real estate assets in Europe.
Prior to joining Farallon Capital Management, Mr. Colin was an Associate with Deutsche Bank in their real estate private equity group, where he worked on the acquisition and asset management of a broad range of real estate investments across Europe. He started his career with Credit Suisse First Boston in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department.
Mr. Colin is a graduate of Paris-Dauphine University where he earned a Masters Degree in Finance.

Alison M. Garcia
PRINCIPAL

Ms. Garcia is a Principal and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and is Head of Business Development and Investor Relations for the firm.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Garcia was the Director of Real Estate for the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer. As Director, she led total capital commitments in excess of $5 billion. In her role managing the $8 billion real estate portfolio, she was responsible for portfolio construction and risk assessment.
Prior to joining North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, Ms. Garcia was Director of Asset Management for CommonWealth Partners in Los Angeles, a real estate investment management company focused on office separate accounts. Ms. Garcia also previously held various real estate investment positions with MetLife in Los Angeles and CGR Advisors and The Portman Companies in Atlanta. She started her career in the tax division of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta.
Ms. Garcia received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of the University of Virginia in 1984.

Adam C. McMaster, CPA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. McMaster is the Chief Financial Officer of Meadow Partners and is responsible for finance, control, reporting, and operations. Mr. McMaster is also the Chief Compliance Officer of Meadow Partners.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. McMaster was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of JF Capital Advisors where he was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions. Prior to joining JF Capital Advisors, Mr. McMaster was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP in New York where he provided audit, accounting and due diligence assistance to some of the largest hospitality and real estate companies in the world.
Mr. McMaster is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and a member of the NYSSCPA, as well as the AICPA. He graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Accounting.

Mike Tremayne
PRINCIPAL

Mr Tremayne is a Principal and Fund Manager in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for all aspects of the Meadow London Core-Plus Fund.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Tremayne was an Equity Partner in Cushman and Wakefield’s Central London Investment Team. As Head of the West End Investment Team, Mr Tremayne was responsible for advising institutional clients on disposals and acquisitions of high profile investment transactions in Central London. He also served on the London Markets’ Board.
Mr. Tremayne received an MA in Property Valuation and Law from City University in 1998. Mr. Tremayne is MRICS accredited and also serves on the Operational Board of the Investment Property Forum.

Peter J. Andresen
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION – US

Mr. Andresen is a Director in the New York office of Meadow Partners and oversees the Company’s development and construction activities in the United States.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Andresen was the Director of Development and Construction for Building and Land Technology, which owns and manages a multi-billion dollar national real estate portfolio of multi-family residential, office, retail, and hotel projects.
Prior to that, Mr. Andresen was the Director of Development and Construction at Mall Properties/Olshan Properties, where he directed the day-to-day operations of the real estate development and construction department, including the redevelopment of over 1.5 million square feet of retail space and hotel projects with more than 600 rooms. Mr. Andresen began his career as a Project Manager for Turner Construction Company and York Hunter.
Mr. Andresen received an M.S. in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University and a B.S. in Construction Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1992.

Gregory Blake
DIRECTOR

Mr. Blake is a Director in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in the United States.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Blake worked as an Analyst in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging, and Leisure Investment Banking Group at Deutsche Bank, where he advised on mergers & acquisitions and various other capital markets activities.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Blake was as an Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets group at Barclays Capital, where he focused on the origination, structuring, and securitization of commercial real estate debt.
Mr. Blake received a B.S. in Hotel Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Corporate Finance from Cornell University.

Joe Copping
DIRECTOR – HEAD OF UK LEGAL

Mr. Copping is a Director – Head of UK Legal in the London Office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the project management and property operations of real estate assets in London.
Mr. Copping qualified as a solicitor in 2002. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Copping worked at Blake Morgan LLP and Taylor Wessing LLP in London, where he advised Meadow on numerous transactions. Mr. Copping has significant experience in all aspects of commercial property transactions in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Copping obtained a law degree with honours from Warwick University in 1998.

Carl Dawson
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION – UK

Mr. Dawson is a Director in the London office of Meadow Partners and oversees development and construction activities in the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Dawson was a Director at Trident Building Consultancy, where he headed up the Project Management department and advised numerous institutional clients on property acquisitions, development monitoring and redevelopment and refurbishment schemes throughout the United Kingdom, covering the office, retail, leisure, residential and industrial sectors.
Prior to his 10 years at Trident Building Consultancy, Mr. Dawson worked at Colliers International advising institutional clients and owner occupiers on a variety of property and construction matters.
Mr. Dawson obtained a Building Surveying degree with honours from the University of Northumbria in 1999 and is MRICS accredited.

Jane Yang
DIRECTOR

Ms. Yang is a Director in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in the United States.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Yang was an Associate Vice President at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., which she joined post-bankruptcy. At Lehman, she focused on restructuring, managing, and monetizing the real estate debt and equity positions held by the Estate.
Ms. Yang was previously a member of the Investment Properties Institutional Group at CBRE in Washington, D.C., where she underwrote and prepared offering materials for retail property dispositions and recapitalizations. She began her career as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on investment and grant management strategies.
Ms. Yang received an M.B.A. in Real Estate Finance from Columbia Business School and an A.B. in Government from Harvard University.

Melissa Nguyen
VICE PRESIDENT

Ms. Nguyen is a Vice President in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in Europe.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Nguyen worked in the Equity Research group at Societe Generale in London where she covered publicly listed real estate companies.
Ms. Nguyen received a Masters in Corporate Finance with honors from EDHEC Business School.

Mark Ghandhi
ASSOCIATE

Mr. Ghandhi is an Associate in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in Europe.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Ghandhi worked as an Analyst in the European Investment Management team at Hines where he was responsible for the structuring and underwriting of potential acquisitions. Prior to joining Hines, Mr. Ghandhi worked as an Analyst in the EMEA Corporate Finance team at Cushman & Wakefield where he was principally involved in the structuring and underwriting of corporate led real estate transactions.
Mr. Ghandhi received a Masters in Real Estate Finance & Investment from the Henley Business School (University of Reading) in 2011 and is MRICS accredited.

Marc Mechanic
ASSOCIATE

Mr. Mechanic is an Associate in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in the United States and Europe.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Mechanic worked as an analyst in the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing group, where he underwrote potential acquisition opportunities as well as managed an existing portfolio.
Mr. Mechanic received a B.S. in Business Economics from Lehigh University.

Michal Lebowitz
CONTROLLER

Ms. Lebowitz is a Controller in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for finance, control, reporting, and compliance.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Lebowitz was an Associate Vice President at Aetos Capital Asia where she was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions of their funds. Prior to joining Aetos, Ms. Lebowitz was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in New York where she provided audit, accounting, and due diligence assistance to some of the largest hospitality and real estate companies in the world.
Ms. Lebowitz graduated from Queens College with a B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Economics.

Max Edelstein, CPA
ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Mr. Edelstein is an Assistant Controller in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for finance, control, reporting, and treasury.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Edelstein was a Senior Analyst at General Motors Asset Management where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the real estate funds and real estate plan assets. Prior to joining General Motors Asset Management, Mr. Edelstein was a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP in New York where he provided audit and accounting assistance to some of the largest real estate companies in the world.
Mr. Edelstein is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and a member of the AICPA. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting.

Mei Kong Lu
ACCOUNTANT

Ms. Kong Lu is an Accountant in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for cash management, treasury, accounting and reporting for Meadow Partners’ entities and investment funds and general assistance to the Controller in all accounting and finance matters.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Kong Lu worked at Miu & Co. CPA and MRI USA where she performed major accounting functions including accounts payable and receivables management, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns and generating corporate and entity level financial statements.
Ms. Kong Lu graduated from Baruch College with a B.S. in Public Accounting and a Minor in Computer Information Systems.

John Ozturk
ASSET MANAGER

Mr. Ozturk is an Asset Manager in the New York office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for property management and construction activities in the United States.
Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Ozturk was a Senior Property Manager for Choice NY Management, which is a third-party property manager of multi-family, office, and retail properties that also provides construction management oversight. Prior to that, Mr. Ozturk was a property manager for Vantage Management Services, where he was responsible for daily management of 3,000 apartments. Mr. Ozturk started his career as a construction project manager for Capco Construction Company.
Mr. Ozturk received an M.S in Strategic Real Estate Management from New York University and a B.A. in Sociology and Economics from Queens College.
